STEELHEAD LNG EXPORT LICENCES FOR MALAHAT LNG AND PROPOSED PROJECT AT SARITA BAY APPROVED BY NATIONAL ENERGY BOARD

VANCOUVER, BC (October 2, 2015) – The National Energy Board (NEB) has approved Steelhead LNG’s applications for five licences to export in the aggregate up to 30 million tonnes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) per year for 25 years from its two proposed LNG projects on Vancouver Island. The NEB decision is subject to approval of the Governor in Council.

One licence to export up to 6 million tonnes of LNG for 25 years is allocated to Malahat LNG, the proposed floating liquefaction and export LNG terminal adjacent to Malahat Nation land, eight kilometres south of Mill Bay, B.C. The other four licences, to export in the aggregate up to 24 million tonnes of LNG per year for 25 years, are allocated to the proposed LNG project Steelhead LNG is exploring with the Huu-ay-aht First Nations on Huu-ay-aht land at Sarita Bay, 75 km southwest of Port Alberni on the west coast of Vancouver Island. STEELHEAD LNG CORP. ANNOUNCES ISLAND GAS CONNECTOR PROJECT FOR ITS PROPOSED MALAHAT LNG FACILITY ON VANCOUVER ISLAND

VANCOUVER, BC (September 1, 2015) – Steelhead LNG Corp. (Steelhead LNG) today announced a pre-construction agreement with pipeline developer Williams (NYSE: WMB) to commence with the design and regulatory approvals for the Island Gas Connector Project (Project), a proposed natural gas pipeline which will transport natural gas to Vancouver Island, where Steelhead LNG is exploring the development of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities.

With the Malahat Nation, Steelhead LNG is pursuing the development of the proposed Malahat LNG Project, a floating natural gas liquefaction and export facility located on the shoreline of Malahat Nation-owned land approximately 5 miles (8 kilometers) south of Mill Bay, BC, on the east coast of Vancouver Island. On the west coast of Vancouver Island, Steelhead LNG is exploring the development of a proposed LNG facility with the Huu-ay-aht First Nations at Sarita Bay, BC, 46.5 miles (75 kilometers) southwest of Port Alberni. STEELHEAD LNG AND MALAHAT FIRST NATION SIGN MUTUAL BENEFITS AGREEMENT AND LEASE FOR LNG PROJECT

VANCOUVER, BC (August 20, 2015) – Steelhead LNG Corp. (Steelhead LNG) and the Malahat First Nation (Malahat Nation) are pleased to announce the successful completion of a Mutual Benefits Agreement (MBA) and Long-Term Lease supporting the proposed development of Malahat LNG, a liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility to be situated on the shoreline of Malahat Nation-owned land, formerly known as Bamberton, approximately 8 kilometres south of Mill Bay on Vancouver Island.

The proposed facility, expected to have a capacity of up to 6 million tonnes per annum (mtpa), would include floating liquefaction facilities moored to the shoreline and minor supporting land-based infrastructure. The project’s significant economic impact would include up to 30 years of revenue generation for local, provincial and federal governments during construction, operation and decommissioning, along with the creation of up to 200 high-paying long-term positions once the facility is operational. The project would also create hundreds of additional direct and indirect jobs on Vancouver Island in a wide variety of sectors from design, through construction and operation, as well as training and employment opportunities for Malahat Nation members, members of neighbouring First Nations and other Vancouver Island community members.
